The billion-kronor company from Ulricehamn building with Brickanta to grow faster

H2, one of Sweden's fastest-growing construction companies, starts building with Brickanta to increase its capacity.

In ten years, Rikard Hansson has built H2 from a startup in Ulricehamn into a group with around 120 employees and revenue in the billions, with eighteen active projects and thousands of apartments under construction. The growth has come from a willingness to challenge the industry's old norms and to keep improving at every step. Now the company is taking its next step and starting to build with Brickanta, the agentic AI platform for society builders.

The collaboration is designed to help H2 make better decisions faster and ease the administrative workload, while the AI platform also gives employees a way to save significant time and money.

"With Brickanta, we can over time essentially double our capacity per employee."

Rikard Hansson, Founder and CEO, H2

The platform reads through project documents, compares them against construction practice and earlier projects, and surfaces risks and opportunities that would otherwise take days of manual work to find.

"We want to be efficient and reduce the errors that can come from human factors. If AI can help with that, we're very interested."

Damian Lind, Project Manager, H2

Construction is one of Sweden's largest industries and at the same time one of its least digitized. While other sectors have long automated parts of their business processes, building has largely relied on manual ways of working. When one of the country's fastest-growing construction companies chooses to build with AI, it's a signal of where the industry is heading.
