Brickanta Summit
Brickanta Summit was created to gather like-minded people who want to push the industry forward. Society builders who see the built world from different perspectives but share the interest in thinking about what role AI can play in it. The Summit 2026 took place at the House of Innovation on October 7. Here’s a recap of what happened.
Keynote
Brickanta, Looking Backwards and Forwards
Lucas grew up on his grandfather’s stories from forty years of driving a lorry on Swedish building sites, and has been building with AI and machine learning since 2018. In 2025 he co-founded Brickanta and launched it out of Y Combinator, convinced that AI could help the people who build our society plan and deliver better. In his keynote, he traced the industry’s long history of innovation, from prefab concrete to BIM, and shared where agentic AI takes it next.

Panel
AI for the Built World
Leaders from construction, tech, and education met to discuss how AI will shape the way we plan and build. The conversation covered smarter sites, better shared information across projects, and the skills people will need to work alongside AI.

Brickanta Award
Congratulations to Spentab
Spentab was recognised as the first winner of the Brickanta Award, for deploying the most AI agents per user this year. As an early adopter of Brickanta, Spentab is putting AI to work in construction and has helped us shape the product along the way. Their willingness to get started, explore new ways of working and build alongside us is something we’re proud to celebrate.
