Press Release

Nayar Grinberg, co-founder of Alysa, an AI tool for construction tendering built with support from KTH Innovation, has joined Brickanta, the agentic AI operating system for society builders.

Brickanta, backed by leading tech, construction and AI investors like Northzone and Y Combinator, today announces that Alysa, led by CEO and co-founder Nayar Grinberg, has joined the company. This is Brickanta's second acquisition-hire, following the acquisition of Praxiom, the agentic construction-law tool built by lawyer Anne Wijkman, who joined earlier this year.

Grinberg co-founded Alysa with two fellow KTH engineering students in autumn 2025, with early backing from KTH Innovation Launch, to automate the hardest parts of bid preparation. Alysa was one of 18 startups selected for the batch after a record number of applications. Building on Alysa's early success with construction firms of all sizes, Grinberg joined Brickanta to continue building the vision of a full-cycle agentic AI platform for construction projects.

"We started Alysa because we watched time, risk, and margin disappear into the tender process in the built world. The deeper we got, the more certain we became that AI can fundamentally change how builders work. When I met the Brickanta team, I found people already living that conviction, with a platform in production and customers using it. Joining Brickanta was an easy choice."

Since joining, Grinberg has worked across product, customers, and operations. His broad experience as a founder in the space helps shape everything from how Brickanta's tender and procurement modules are designed to how they're introduced to customers, keeping the platform grounded in the realities of bid and tendering work. He has also been essential in Brickanta's internationalization and ongoing broader rollout across more European markets, after the company’s inception as part of Silicon Valley-based Y Combinator last fall.

"I love the momentum Nayar built with Alysa, it will feed right into Brickanta's next stage of growth. Knowing they started out of KTH Innovation Launch made it even clearer this was a match. When I landed back in Sweden from the US in 2025, I had the pleasure of working as a Venture Builder at KTH Innovation, and saw firsthand the top talent and eye for innovation that comes out of there. It's the same pattern we saw with our first acquihire, construction lawyer Anne, a founder who'd already built something the industry needed, now building it with us. Anne came from the legal side, Nayar from tendering, and each hire like this makes the team itself more purpose-built for construction. The people obsessed with building AI for construction keep ending up here, and that's very much the plan as we continue scaling. Nayar is one signal among many. In just the last couple of months we have more than doubled the team and were named Startup of the Year by Techarena, and we are only speeding up from here.”
