Brickanta's $8m round, led by Northzone with Lovable cofounder Anton Osika and angels from OpenAI, Google, and Meta, was covered by Sifted. "With thousands of specialists involved and mountains of documentation, it's almost impossible for humans to catch every risk in time," says CEO Lucas Otterling, whose team has embedded engineers directly with customers in what's described as a "Palantir model" of forward-deployed delivery. After testing the market across 11 countries, Brickanta is focusing on northern Europe first: "strict, common building regulations and a much higher degree of digitalisation" make it, in Otterling's words, "the perfect place to start."
